Dow launched its latest ADCOTE L-805 A / C (High Solid) lamination adhesive in our country during Plastimagen Mexico 2017.
It is a high performance solvent-based adhesive with a high solids content, which increases productivity and efficiency; at the same time, reduce energy consumption, offering lower cost as a final result.
This adhesive is ideal for the production of containers that require high thermal resistance, for example, those used for tomato or mayonnaise and require hot filling, or are suitable for products that need high chemical resistance, such as chlorine. and cleaning fluids. In addition, it is the only BPA-free adhesive that complies with European regulation and has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of the United States of North America.
These benefits are possible thanks to its high solids content, which reduces the amount of solvent in its formulation, compared to other products on the market. ADCOTE L-805 A / C makes possible a formulation with a range of 15-20% less solvent in the adhesive mix. Other benefits obtained as a consequence of the high solids content are:
