Trade between Mexico and China, which regulates the Comprehensive Strategic Association, facilitates the commercial relationship between both nations
With the aim of promoting international trade and commercial relations between Mexico and China, in 2013 the Comprehensive Strategic Association (AEI) was created, an instrument that regulates and enhances business between the two countries.
As a result of this association, 12 agreements were signed between various government, business, academic and investment entities, which can boost your business. Among them, five key points stand out:
1) General collaboration agreement between the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
2) Declaration of intention to establish a high-level Mexico-China business group.
3) Memorandum of Understanding for the strengthening of the infrastructure construction sector: China promised to make investments of up to 81 billion dollars in Mexico between 2013 and 2018 in terms of infrastructure for communications and transportation.
4) Memorandum of Understanding to establish the subgroup for cooperation in emerging industries.
5) Memorandum of Cooperation between Bancomext and the Export-Import Bank of China (Export-Import Bank).
Due to the opportunities that business cooperation will generate, Mexico has great potential and a promising future.
At Expo and China – Mexico Trade and Investment Forum 2019, to be held on November 26, 27 and 28 at Expo Santa Fe, visitors will establish direct contact with institutions specializing in the import and investment of products of Chinese origin, which will allow Mexican entrepreneurs to undertake a transparent and proper business.
