The event will feature, from October 16 to 23, in Düsseldorf, Germany, with lectures, debates and practical examples on circular economy
The concept of circular economy is discussed in the Plastics Industry as a good way into the future. But what does it mean to bring plastics in a circle? What steps are decisive? Who are the partners involved?
The VDMA Circular Economy Forum will address topics such as recycling design and prerequisites. In the pavilion of the VDMA, specially arranged for the Circular Economy Forum, the special characteristics of the processing of recycled materials will be examined, as well as the connections between the markets, the quantities, the qualities and the conditions of the legal framework
With regard to packaging, it will show the advantages of plastic products in the life phase, but will also discuss the arguments in favor of the “unwrapped” model. Additionally, the successful cycles established as a business model will be taught and students will be invited to the “Fridays for future”.
With talks, presentations and workshops, the program, which includes exhibitors such as Arburg, Engel, Erema, KraussMaffei and Reifenhäuser, as well as renowned brands such as Procter & Gamble, will offer relevant information on the circular economy.
