The last game between the New England Patriots and the Oakland Raiders, in Mexico City, proved to be an ecological event where Banorte placed four Innovabox machines to support the recycling of the Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) bottles, which were used during the game, in which more than 4 thousand containers were collected.
Those attending this great sporting event approached the recycling machines, placed in the capital’s zócalo and in the Azteca stadium, to deposit the used containers, which were donated to the reconstruction of Mexico City, after the earthquakes registered. on September 19.
“We support sports activities that contribute to the protection of the environment, since it is our objective to encourage recycling and prevent thousands of plastic bottles from being dumped into the sea, a garbage dump or the street,” said Eduardo Bustamante, Director of Innovation Box Group (Innovabox).
The machines are an intelligent trash can that operates as a Reverse Vending Machine, which captures municipal solid waste efficiently, reduces CO2 emissions, as well as the amount of garbage and rewards the work of recycling packaging made of PET, aluminum and tin, through a fun experience.
