The fourth edition of the Plastics Recycling Show Europe (PRSE) will be held virtually for the first time, from December 9-11. The free-to-attend event will feature a 3-day conference, an opportunity to network online, visit a virtual exhibition, and meet the winners of the 2020 Plastics Recycling Awards.
The PRSE will bring together the major industry players, such as machine builders, brand owners, waste management companies, legislators and academics, as well as recyclers under one virtual roof. Visitors will receive information on various topics of interest, such as advances, trends, technology, innovation in the reuse and recycling of plastics, as well as the importance of recyclability and the recycled content of plastics.
The conference will open with a keynote address by Commissioner for the Environment, Oceans and Fisheries Virginijus Sinkevicius. Distinguished speakers include Maja Desgrees du Lou, European Commission Packaging and Packaging Waste Policy Officer, Dorothea Wiplinger, Head of Sustainability – Group Strategy and Development at Borealis, Andreas Malmberg, Managing Director of Trioplast, Karlheinz Hausmann, R&D member at Dow, Hans Axel Kristensen, CEO of Plastix, Roberta Bernasconi, Senior Director of Sustainability at Whirlpool Corporation.
