Israeli technology company Nanofabrica will showcase its recently marketed micrometer-level additive (AM) manufacturing platforms (Workship System and Industrial System) during the Hannover Messe 2019 trade show from April 1-5.

The company claims an “innovative” technology that unites AM in the manufacture of microprocessors with precision and resolution of microns and micrometers.

The company’s industrial system combines semiconductor lithography with 3D printing, providing a resolution of 1 micron in a large 5X5X10cm envelope.

Similarly, the shop’s system combines Nanofactory’s proprietary technologies to achieve “extremely high resolution with unprecedented repeatability,” according to the company’s website.

“Until now, all manufacturers wanting to produce miniaturized products and components with micron-volume resolution characteristics have been restricted to using traditional micro-molding and micro-machining technologies,” Nanofabrica said in a press release ahead of the show. .

Nanofabrica’s technology, he added, is “fast, highly accurate and cost-effective.”

According to the Tel-Aviv company, the tools required for traditional manufacturing processes have a negative impact on time to market and also make such processes “uneconomical” for small to medium production runs.

However, AM does allow for mass customization, customization, and the ability to use the same manufacturing platform for prototyping, small batches, and mass manufacturing, Nanofabrica concluded.
