Kraiburg TPE meets standards with innovative materials

Kraiburg TPE expands its portfolio of flame retardant products with innovative materials that meet industry standards.

The new advances of the company allow to present a series of products with a V-0 non-flammability classification for polypropylene multi-component applications. With advancement, rail industry transformers can implement inner and outer train sealing applications, regardless of the final design and operation.

The materials of the UL94 V-0 line are self-extinguishing in case of fire and prevent the formation of drops. In the same way they meet the requirement without the need to include flame retardant additives that include halogen. This means greater safety for people in case of fire, as it develops less smoke and less emission of toxic combustion gas.

Materials in this series are produced at Kraiburg TPE’s three production facilities in Germany, Malaysia and the USA.
